Puspita Ray
I mostly make landscape paintings with a larger focus on floral backgrounds and flowers. It is my way of sharing the nature’s beauty with people. There is a huge variety of flora and fauna all over the world; sometimes hard, sometimes soft. There are green, gray, and many colorful hues all around. These colors reflect on human life and created a bond between the human and nature. This creates an ecological balance, which is a huge factor in the nature. I notice insects eating off flowers and flowers eating insects, it is a large circle that works beyond anyone’s control. These chains maintain the balance in the environment. The blossoming time spreads peace, happiness and hope. The blossoms carry different shapes and colors which teach something different to the nature. I get inspired by nature and I love to make paintings of nature. The nature’s most beautiful creations are the flowers. Flower reflects love, light, peace, devotion and so much more. They carry dreams, love and a hope for pleasant life. We offer flowers to God and the fragrance makes our souls holy and spiritual. Flowers carry honesty, sensitivity and patience. Brown flowers are a sign of unselfish life of action and relief. The flowers do not bloom for their own sake, they bloom to wake up the human beings.
I try to bring all these emotions of the nature in my paintings.
