Aniqa Ikram
Aniqa Ikram is working as Lecturer, Fine Arts, in School of art, Design & Architecture (SADA) at University of Gujrat Since 2015. She has also conducted 6 months drawing courses in Punjab collage many times. Aniqa has been running an art academy / studio from 2014-2016.
She cannot exactly say when or where she first began to realize that ‘art’ would become her vocation. Growing up in Gujrat, a city with various cultural aspects, she remembers on her way to school seeing signboard painters doing calligraphic work and making huge cinema signboards. Watching them at work motivated her to practice art. Her professional training in the Arts field started when she joined the University of Gujrat, which gave her a chance to explore her passions and choose a particular field accordingly. Aniqa acquired Bachelor in Fine Arts (2013) and from then she has been attached to this art form.
As a Miniature Artist, she has had numerous groups shows at national level. She lives and works in Gujrat, Punjab, Pakistan. She has been recognized and supported by numerous national and international exhibitions, public art commissions, reviews, residencies.
