Faruq Siyal

Faruq Siyal is a Pakistani watercolor and oil painter whose artistic journey began in 1996 under the guidance of his mentors Sir Iqbal Shahid and Sir Ali Sajid. Over the years, he has developed a strong command of watercolor techniques, drawing, and oil painting, establishing himself as a dedicated practitioner of expressive visual art.

His work often reflects a deep connection to cultural life, human emotion, and everyday narratives. With a focus on observation and storytelling, Siyal translates real-life scenes into delicate yet powerful compositions. His watercolor paintings, in particular, demonstrate a refined sensitivity to light, transparency, and atmosphere, while his oil works reveal depth, texture, and strength of form.

Throughout his career, he has received multiple awards, including recognition from the KPK Government, and has participated in numerous group exhibitions across Peshawar, Islamabad, Lahore, Karachi, and Dera Ismail Khan. His achievements reflect both his technical skill and his commitment to artistic growth.
