 My “Ceramics” work is manifestation of my struggle and aspiration to achieve excellence, success, and recognition as a Ceramic Artist.  As a ceramic Artist I struggle between traditional and modern ceramic crafts and Arts. I work in ceramics but unfortunately most people in Pakistan limit fine arts into sculpture and painting. My work mostly covers calligraphy and design patterns. Ceramics is a mostly perceived as a traditional craft in Pakistan and I want to change the perception of the people. it is a very flexible medium with great artist capacity. it should not be limited and caged into the box of traditional crafts only. I wish to build connection between the modern and traditional ceramic art practices through my art work.
