Alongside his artistic practice, Saqib Akhtar is actively engaged in academia and design education. He is currently serving as an Assistant Professor in the Visual Communication Design (VCD) department at the University of Management and Technology, where he mentors emerging artists and designers while continuing his professional artistic journey.
He has graduated in Visual Communication Design from NCA, Lahore in 1985 with
honors. His work has been displayed in local galleries as well as in Kuwait. He has worked with several renowned organizations including Hilton/Avari Hotel & The Bank of Punjab in Pakistan and iPak, Direction Communication, Market Links, Four Films Printing Ltd. & Kuwait Oil Company in Kuwait.
