M. Riaz is a Pakistan-based artist and calligrapher. He was born in 1978 in the city of Toba Tek Singh. M. Riaz has emerged as an influential artist of Islamic calligraphy, and semi-abstract composition. A short association with Mr. Tariq Gill has turned his style that seems to strike as a calligraphic extension, and it is thought that it would help to develop that excellent style and techniques further. M. Riaz has developed his design and scalpel-like pen, making his calligraphy more enjoyable for those who relish the grace and beauty of Arabic script. He has had many group exhibitions in Pakistan.
