Filza Soomro, born in 1999 in Hyderabad, Sindh, Pakistan, is a visual artist working primarily with landscape painting. She developed her artistic practice in Pakistan and later completed an Art Diploma in Chengdu, China, where she explored new approaches to painting and visual expression.
Her work focuses on landscapes as spaces of beauty, memory, and emotional connection. She is inspired by mountains, valleys, fields, rural environments, and the changing relationship between nature and people. Through expressive brushwork, layered colors, and strong contrasts, Filza creates landscapes that capture both the physical character and atmosphere of a place.
Rather than simply documenting nature, her paintings explore how landscapes can hold personal feelings, memories, and experiences. Her practice reflects a continuous interest in observing the natural world and translating its quiet beauty into expressive visual forms. Through her work, Filza invites viewers to slow down, observe, and develop their own connection with the landscape.
