Ceren Cengiz was born in İzmir in 1990. Since childhood, she received many awards. She won second prize at Edak in1998, certificate at Monami in 2000, Macedonia painting competition Silver Certificate in 2003, interhighschool best instrument award, violin category in American College. In 2012 and 2013 she won recognized certificate in national and international packaging competition. In 2013, she finished Industrial Design in Izmir University of Economics, took third place from this department. In 2015, she completed Master's Degree in Fine Arts, Ceramics and Glass Design Department from Dokuz Eylül University. She participated in various types of group exhibitions in İzmir, Eskişehir, Sakarya, İstanbul. In 2015, she hold solo ceramic-painting exhibition ''From Nature to Dance'' by incorporating performing arts. Then, she started Proficieny in Art Program in DEU and aimed to associate west-east culture in works. In 2019, she completed this program. In 2020, in the pandemic process, she join international online exhibitions. She loves different cultures and nature. As she spent her childhood in a natural environment, in her works, you can see some melodies from nature. She believes that ''Everyhing is hidden in nature.'' She see ceramic,music and colour as a world which express herself. Other interests are playing violin, piano, singing, tango, painting, traveling and learning. She knows Italian, English and German.
