Statement of Exhibition

“Bliss of Solitude”; the phrase has been derived from William Woodsworth’s famous poem “The Daffodils”. It means; the blessings of loneliness. It is for a pensive mood, flashes upon an inward eye. I relate my exact feelings of the great poet went through. Since loneliness happened to open a hidden window inside my heart , that is really needed for art to be created. It further fills the heart with pleasure, and rejoicing play of colors upon canvas is initiated. This is something an artist can enjoy only because loneliness has spiritual significance. If an artist would have been living in the middle of many people, one could never realize the worth of nature and significance of colors around. So, solitude is certainly a source of blessing for revelation.The "inward eye" is the visualization of unending memories. The title indicates a similar feeling that in my loneliness, I remember best moments of my life that compel me to paint.
