Pakistan is an agricultural country. The show, title SHAME KY SAIY meticulously depicted the rich landscape of Punjab village. More than 24 works were display at the exhibition. In oil on Canvas, they featured picturesque green fields, trees, ponds, mud house in a variety of styles blending into the many moods of the sky in the background. The paintings depict a command over technique, with the color filling in fluid compositions and changing effect of light. But green with shades of blue and shades of Brown in the background depicting twilight are dominating in the paintings. I use different mediums. My current body of work is done in oil on Canvas and shows the ambiance on the peripheries of Lahore, talking the viewer on a tour of rural life. I have used the rich palette of colors and texture building up the vast scene focusing on one central object, tree which always fascinates me, my paintings focus on the colorful, exquisite landscape of Punjab. My strange compositions and bold strokes create a peaceful ambiance that runs through all the artworks.“The play of light and dark shadows is intriguing and skillfully executed pleasing to the eye as they grow on the viewer. A rich tapestry of colors deflecting the beauty of nature”. Instead of delving into selective imaginary of a place. I Paints the whole scene in its true form of feeling. My paintings reflect a love for native land in vivid detail. The settings vary with a transient palette, blending in natural loves in variety of loans. My paintings are an aura of landscape and life.
