Statement of Exhibition

My series “JUSTAJU” is reflection of my thoughts, perception, and experience of ceramic creation in Pakistan. Ceramics is not just the art & design; it also categorizes as craft that has been identity of Pakistani heritage. My work is combination of both traditional and modern ceramic arts. The meeting point of both old and new traditions transitioning. JUSTAJU is my hope to move traditional ceramic practices to Modern Art galleries where they can be rediscovered and explored by the masses.
